My experience with Chico Volkswagen, however, was incredible and has raised the bar. They were quick to get me in and were there with the paperwork in hand as I walked in the door. They took care of calling my warranty plan to make certain what was covered and let me know right away, so I knew what to expect. They found a couple of other problems while they had my car in the shop and addressed them as well. When I came to pick it up, the service manager saw me coming and, again, had my paperwork in hand. Finally, and probably most impressive was that he explained that I needed to remove or alter my seat covers to accommodate the airbags to prevent injury to me. The experience showed me they care and obviously love what they do. It really made my day. Kate I was very pleased, I have always been skeptical going to a dealership for service,. Bob & Charlotte *My car broke down on the way out of town on a Saturday. They made room on their busy schedule and quickly diagnosed the problem. Parts had to be ordered and they gave me a loaner car and quickly got me back on the road and saved the trip. When I got back to town the car was fixed and ready to go. *The staff at Chico VW has always been very friendly, sincere towards me. I don't feel that I am just a number to them, but a valued customer. Jean and Ben *My Service Consultant, Craig, went above and beyond my expectations and the Service Tech (Gary) identified a serious, ongoing problem that had been missed before and by another service department. Although my car was out of the warranty period, Chico VW contacted VW of America and got the required repairs paid for. They also provided me a rental car, which was paid for. When I was at the other dealer, in Reno, NV, I felt that they were not concerned about me or my car, only about making money. They had ME call the regional service rep to beg for relief when the car was barely outside of warranty (VW paid 50% of the bill), even after I explained that it had been an ongoing problem. Then they made a repair that didn't fix the problem. Chico VW identified the problem, then THEY contacted the regional rep and got the parts and repairs paid for (100%), which included having to replace the engine. Craig kept me updated through the process and I always felt that Chico VW was looking out for my best interests. My car is now running great. Pat & Dina Perfect in every respect!

*When I picked up my vehicle his car wash person was not there. I had appointments to get to and he told me that if I came back later he would finish my service with a car wash ( I showed up early to pick up my car). I came back several hours later, he remembered why I was there and before I could even remind him he asked for my keys and was out the door to get it washed. He was only gone maybe ten minutes.
