What's the catch?

All you need to do is follow the Manufacturer’s Recommended Maintenance outlined in your vehicle's owner's manual & maintain records of routine Vehicle maintenance performed by you or others. You can take you vehicle anywhere for repairs. But, if you choose to get any work done through us - you won’t pay a deductible and we’d have all records on hand, further adding convenience. The total dollar benefits paid under this Warranty are limited to the Vehicle Purchase Price. The total dollar benefit paid for any given Covered Repair is limited to the average trade-in value of the Vehicle (excluding tax, title and license fees) immediately prior to the Mechanical Breakdown based on the then most recent National Automobile Dealer Associate Used Car Guide (or a comparable guide, if that guide has been discontinued). This Warranty may not be transferred or assigned.

What does the warranty cover?

The following includes all covered parts:

Engine: All lubricated parts; engine block; cylinder head(s); expansion plugs; harmonic balancer; manifolds: exhaust/intake; mounts; oil pan (excluding drain plug related failures); engine oil cooler; pulleys; timing belt/chain/cover and tensioner; valve cover(s); water pump; electric coolant pump; electric oil pump; engine control module (ECM); diesel accessory vacuum pump, lift pump, injectors and injector pump; manufacturer-installed turbocharger(s), bypass valve(s) intercooler and wastegate(s); manufacturer-installed supercharger, bypass valve(s), blow-off valve(s), and intercooler.

Transmission: All internal lubricated parts; mounts; throttle valve cable; throttle by wire; torque convertor; flywheel/flexplate; transmission and transfer case housing; transmission cooler/metal lines; oil pan; transmission control module (TCM); vacuum modulator; automatic electronic clutches; electric oil pump; gear selector system; electronic drive mode, paddle shifter, push button and shift by wire.

Drive axle (front/rear/AWD/4 wheel drive): All internal lubricated parts within the drive/transaxle assembly and housing,including axles and axle bearings; electronic limited slip or locking differential system; constant velocity boots and joints; differential cover; hubs and hub bearing; front hub locking assemblies; drive shaft, propeller shaft, yoke, support and center support bearing; universal joints; four wheel drive actuator; differential heating and cooling system; coaxial electric axle.

Hybrid/plug-in hybrid/battery electric/fuel cell-hydrogen; Electric motor assembly; electronic transmission/transaxle assembly; electric traction-drive motor assembly; transmission control (ECU); fuel cell water pump.

Other covered repair expenses: Filter, fluids and lubricants; taxes; nuts. Bolts and screws; wheel alignments; ADAS-advanced driver assistance system recalibrations; if required to complete a covered repair for any covered part listed above.

Seals & Gaskets: Seals and gaskets for all covered parts listed above.

** Please note: Ineligible Sale types are all Lease Terms, and Factory Purchase Programs, do not qualify for the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty.

Vehicle Eligibility:

New Vehicles: Vehicles previously untitled, still under manufacturer’s complete warranty, Current plus one previous model year with fewer than 12,000 odometer miles. January 1 will be considered the change date for determining the model year eligibility. 

Pre-Owned Vehicles: C+5 includes the current model year plus 5 more after this year for a total of 6 model years with fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer. January 1 will be considered the change date for determining model year eligibility

General Exclusions: 

The following vehicles are ineligible: Commercial or business use vehicles, step vans, high cube vans or box bodies, cab and chassis, and vehicles over a one ton rating; vehicles used for the following purpose: snow plowing; vehicles that have a branded or salvaged title, have been designated a total loss, are rebuilt or have alterations not authorized/specified by the manufacturer; vehicles equipped with V10 or V12 engines or CNG; vehicles not certified for sale in the United States or Canada, gray market vehicles, and vehicles equipped with right-hand steering; any vehicle with a non-functioning odometer or an odometer that has been manipulated. Asian and Domestic-VW vehicles are eligible subject to the ineligible vehicle list below, and a MSRP limitation of $125,000.

Ineligible Vehicles:
